In Cambodia there are many kinds of rice. If you want to cook rice for serve with food, I recommend you choose jasmine rice. In this country, the place that grow good rice is  Battambong province. Jasmine rice is soft and it has good smell. Even the left over rice good and fluffy. Most of the jasmine rice is exported to Europe and some other countries. If you want to choose rice to make Khmer noodle, you should choose hard rice.

Thailand also have this kind of rice and the taste is the same because Thailand is located next to Cambodia.
